Mitrovica MP Muja voted in favour of electricity payment for Northern Serbs, which is what she said a week ago.

The Commission for Economics in the Kosovo Assembly, which consists in large numbers of members of Vetevendosje deputies, voted that the state of Kosovo pay 11m euros for energy spent by northern Serbs. This decision was proposed by Vetevendosje deputies Mimoza Kusari-Lila and Armend Muja, who comes from Mitrovica.
But both of these VVA deputies -- hic less than a week away, in the same Commission -- had strongly opposed the Serb-inhabited northern municipalities to pay their electricity bills.
MP Mimoza Kusari-Lila had said the question of how electricity consumption for this year has increased by 20 per cent since no population growth has been registered.
While MP Armend Muja had said it is irrational that the state continues to pay its bills to northern municipalities.
The government paid Kosovo consumer from 2017 until 2017. We're subsidizing the power there. With our decisions we have given them rights so consume as much as you want us to pay them the power. I'm against, this practice must be prohibited is against government logic”, he had declared, broadcast Periscopi.
Also, Albin Kurti of his Vetevendosje party, repeatedly before coming to power, had criticised past governments for paying the Serbs' electricity to the north.
Otherwise, with 6 votes for, the Commission voted MP Mimoza Kusari's proposal, while opposing opposition MPs./Periscopi/
