Linda Halimi says that family members do not yet speak to her why she married Big D

Today Lindita Halimi is one of the most successful Albanian artists who have managed to get her name even beyond Albanian borders. To get to where she is today, she has had to climb the ladder of success slowly but safely, even though there was a lot of voice from behind that [...]
Born in a small village in Gjilan, Kosovo, has caused it to face many difficulties and prejudices during its musical journey.
Invited this Saturday to the Soire with Jonida Shehu in ABC, Lindita has remembered those difficult times.
I've had a very difficult time at first, plus I came from a very small village, and there the girls still marry with collection. To sing was very absurd. Since Grandpa even told me that it's no good, it's a bad name for our family, we're not married, nobody gets you. My appearance was a sign of courage and rebellion that I have always loved music”, Lindita Halimi indicated.
The singer managed to break down those walls that surrounded her and showed her to Albanians, but not only her talent and vocal potential.
But what happened to her after she became successful and known to the public?
I started with cousins I didn't know they existed. Everyone just happened to love me, but it was normal to discuss weight again. That was the main theme”, it showed up smiling Lindita.
During his conversation with Jonida Shehu, Lindita also spoke of knowing with her American rapper BIG D, where she said again that she felt prejudiced over the choice.
I was too afraid to tell my parents first. I was very afraid that we were a small place, a conservative place, as the girls said they were arranged, they didn't even know the man. Dad told me that I knew that someone you only have as a friend didn't come to the bar at 10 o'clock in the morning until 3:00 in the morning. I've been here for a while, but I didn't know how to say it, I was waiting until you opened up. I'm ashamed to have distant family members who still don't talk to me. They can't perceive. Their idea was that when you get married you present it to your family and you mispronounced us. But everyone has their own lives, they're all married, and I hope they're happy.
