Black and red athletes, part of a collaboration between Lil Nas X and the New York-based art collective, M The SCHF was made using Nike Air Max 1997s, although the brand of sports clothing was distanced from design.
In an email statement for CNN, Nike said she was not involved in the creation of modified athletes.

M SCHF confirmed via E-mail that the 666-party edition was sold in less than a minute.
They were worth $1,018 a pair.
A spokesman for M The SCHF said blood was provided by members of the art collective, adding: “We want to sacrifice for our art”.
Later, Wiesner explained in a video that the creative team collected individual points over a week using the same kind of needle used in glucose tests at home. The group also confirmed to CNN that Nike “was not involved in this at any capacity”.
