Government clarifys Veton Surroi's role, Blerim Shala and Bernard Nikajt for dialogue

Kosovo Government spokesman Progress Kryeziu has declared for Gazeta Express that Prime Minister Albin Kurti will lead the dialogue with Serbia, in co-ordination with President Vjosa Osmani and the Kosovo Assembly.
“The government and Prime Minister Kurti will lead with dialogue. He will do so by co-ordinating and consulting with President Osmani, and by closely co-operating with the Republic of Kosovo's Assembly and the subjects represented there”, Kryeziu has declared.
He said Bernard Nikaj, Blerim Shala, Veton Surroi and others, are a team of experts engaged by the Group for the Balkans, within the framework of the memorandum of understanding between the Government of Kosovo, the Norwegian Embassy and the Group for the Balkans.
“Regarding reporting in question, let me clarify that this is not about a negotiating team. It is a team of experts engaged by the Group for the Balkans (BPRG) under a memorandum of understanding between the Government of Kosovo, the Norwegian Embassy and the Balkan Group that was signed last week. This team of experts will engage Mr. Surroi, Mr. Mr. Shala's. Nikaj. Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi, according to his portfolio, has met with the team in recent days”, Kryeziu has declared.
Otherwise, the Group for the Balkans today announced that besides these experts, depending on the needs of the Government, other experts could be invited.
The “Experts engaged so far are: Bernard Nikaj, Leon Malazogu, Robert Muharrem, Muhamet Mustafa, Veton Surroi. Soon the expert group is expected to join Blerim Shala. Other experts may be invited and subject to the needs of the government and the dynamics of the dialogue process.
“This activity consists of one of the group's programming components for the Balkans, which are implemented with the support of the Norwegian Government, within the framework “Development of peace & State-building and advancing the European agenda”, it says in post.
