South Mitrovica Mayor Agim Bahtiri has reacted to statements by Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, who has spoken of the idea of building the major KSF military base at the Kosovo level at the Mitrovica Cranusa.
“If someone thinks that the stability of the Western Balkans is built by hurting Serbs, this is not possible”, Vuciq has declared today.
On the other hand, Agim Bahtiri has stated in an interview for Periscope that the construction of the KSF base in Mitrovica Cranousa is good for all citizens regardless of nationality.
I don't know who's scared here. We will try to co-operate with them and on special occasions protect them from any threat that may come to you from other countries. But we want understanding, good neighborhood. But I will never ask Serbia about the jobs we will do within Kosovo”, Bahtiri has declared for Periscope.
We remember that yesterday Vuciq has stated that construction of the Jarinje-Mitrovica road will soon begin, while promising the construction of two hospital centres in northern Mitrovica and in Gracanica. /Periscopi
