In a Facebook status, Pupovci said he is aware of all the challenges of this journey.
“After 21 years at the head of the Kosovo Education Centre (KEC) I have resigned from the executive director's position, while the Board has named it my colleague, Petrit Tahiri, to whom I want good work and success in running the organisation”, wrote among other things.

From now on, I am starting a new path to the post of deputy minister in the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation.
I thank Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Minister Arberie Nagavci for my faith and pledge that I will work with all energy to improve the situation in the education and research sector.
I am aware of all the challenges of this journey and welcome any ideas and assistance to address complex problems in this area.
After 21 years at the helm of the Kosovo Educational Centre (KEC), I have resigned from the executive director's position, while the Board has appointed my colleague Petrit Tahiri, who I want good work and success in running the organisation.
I thank all colleagues and board members for their cooperation and contribution to the growth of the organisation.
