The acting prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Avdullah Hoti, at a meeting with incumbent Health Minister, Mr. Armend Zemaj, IKSHPK director, Mr. Nasser Ramadani and the director of KSFUK, Mr. Valbon Krasniqi, has talked about the epidemiological situation against COVID-19.
As the country faces a new wave of the COVID-19 pandemic explosion, maintenance of measures in power and full respect was required. While, health institutions are working intensively on capacity growth, drug insurance and increasing the number of medical personnel.
From municipal headquarters, police, The AVUK and the Inspectorates were asked to boost the commitment to prevention, management and control of COVID-19 infection and at the same time make rigorous compliance with the measures in force.
And all citizens were required to respect physical distance, use masks, become disinfectant, and ventilation of locals, unable to sustain the eventual spread of infection and avoid spread in closed spaces.
As for the vaccine supply, this month it is expected to reach the first container of 33 thousand doses of COVAX vaccine.
