Argentinian legend Lionel Messi has decided to take legal steps following the discovery of details of his contract by the newspaper “El Mundo”
According to sources close to its legal representatives, Argentine football player will file a criminal complaint against five people he considers suspected of uncovering private document in the Madrilene newspaper, a fact that constitutes a crime.
They are Josep Maria Bartholomew (former-president of Barca), Charles Tusquets (current president of the Management Committee), Jordi Mestre (formerly Chairman for Sports Affairs), éscar Grau ( Club CEO) and Romà Puntí (Barca Law Services chief) .
All of these people have had access to documents and, as a result, are the main suspects in providing contracts to the newspaper “El Mundo”, which will also be indicted for its publication, while it was confidential.
Interestingly, the Barcelona Club itself -- most specifically, the Management Committee -- has sought to launch an internal investigation into trying to clarify the details of the incident.
