Four pregnant men with COVIDD-19 are receiving treatment at the Gynecological Clinic

So has Kosovo Preress director Jakup Ismajli, who said that from January 2021 until now in this department dedicated to COVID, 21 pregnant have been treated.

There are four patients in the hospital. Two are in the 37th or 38th week of pregnancy, while two are early pregnancies, one in 22nd week and one in 29th week. These two pregnant women, who are in the 37th week, are expected, since their previous birth is made of cesarean cuts, are expected to be completed within the week. Others are in their second and normal birth pregnancy. The patient's condition is stable. In 2020 we had a total of 103 patients (with COVID) who requested treatment at our clinic, 47 were born, while others were pregnancies that were released after treatment and treatment. And in 2021 we have 21 pregnancies (with COVID), a cesarean cut birth”, Ismajli noted.

Since new cases of contact with COVIID-19 have increased in recent days, Ismajli said institutions have made an early release of anti-majli measures. - CO VID and now this is reflecting on the increasing numbers.

Since the SARS-COV-2 virus has affected a large number of health professionals in Kosovo, there are currently no infected people at the Gynecological Obstetric Clinic, but only 1 specialist and 3 nurses are on their own because of contact with persons infected with COVID-19.

We have a specialist in self-issolation right now and three nurses in self-isolation. Infected, not only do we have, but in self-insistance, some have family and husband infected with COVID, so they're in self-isolation until the results come up, Ishmael stressed.

Klicika Obstetrician Gynecological Director Jakup Ismajli in an interview for Kosovo Press has also talked about the number of births realised at this clinic during 2020.

He said that due to the pandemic at this clinic last year, about 700 were performed less.

We had about 8 thousand and 800 births in 2020, 3 grand and 120 were made with cesarean cuts, while the rest were performed by normal birth. There was a drop somewhere we had 600-700 births less, but we had in mind that because of the huge volume, a large number of patients who had health insurance, births were performed in private hospitals, but some births were stopped at” hospitals, he stressed.

From March 13th 2020 to February 22, 2021, over 66 thousand and 600 cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in Kosovo, of which 1,575 patients have died. The total number of cures to date total 58 thousand and 359 cases, while the number of active cases is 6706.
