Kosovo Lawyers' Oda Decisions to Enhance boycott of several country institutions

Some decisions were made at this meeting:

To expand the Steering Council's decision date 03.02.2021 for boycotting the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina, so that as early as 08.03.2021, the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo will also be boycotted, as well as representation at Pristina Region Police stations, which included stations in municipalities within the framework of Region.

The written decision OAK will send to the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo, the Constitutional Prosecutorship in Pristina and membership as soon as it is formalised.

Despite the fact that Oda has consistently demanded from the KPK institution that lawyers have no obstacles to access to these facilities and that lawyers are treated with dignity, these institutions have not implemented OAK's demands, for the benefit of lawyers in exercising their noble and constitutional profession. OAK remains committed to cooperating with all institutions in facilitating the exercise of the lawyer” profession, It says in the communique.

“The Steering Council's decisions are mandatory, with their failure to comply with them constitutes serious disciplinary violations. For lawyers who have not respected the decision on the date 03.02,2021 of the Steering Council, disciplinary procedure” has been initiated, among other things.
