Amazingly, City was at a disadvantage when five minutes of play was left, but citizens managed to make sensational returns at the end.
Edin Dzeko initially scored to equalize the outcome, before Sergio Aguero marked the last touch in the match as he sent all those related to City to ecstasy.
It was absolutely extraordinary.

The Brazilian team, International, believed it had done something similar Thursday evening.
International has not won the title in Brazil since 1978, but was introduced on the last day of the championship, knowing that a victory would end that reception.
The dream seemed to end until the Korinthians game was going to an extra time.
But exceptionally, they found their goal path in the 97th minute.
The captain, Edenilson, stirred a thrill when he marked behind the back of the opposing goalkeeper.

International staff and players were thrilled, as you can imagine. Some footballers went into the field to celebrate until Edenilson took the fan.
However, joy turned to sadness when the flag rose out of place.
The International Team surrounded the side judge who stood still in his decision and held the flag raised.
Then VAR was consulted, and the Brazilian star was tried to be out of place for the smallest margin.
That wasn't the only decision that went against International in the match.
Earlier in the match, a penalty was denied by the VAR, and another goal was canceled.
