Three victims in road accidents within 24 hours in Albania, police appeal for caution

Another serious accident was marked earlier at the site called “The Zhur fight”, where the directorate vehicle citizen R.H., has crashed citizen S. G., 66 years old. As a result of the accident, this citizen has lost his life at the scene.
On Monday evening, a 71-year-old lost his life in another accident on a rural road in the village of Torovica, Lezha.
The old man was walking along the road as he was hit by a type “Benz”, which was run by a 26-year-old resident in the same village.
It was Road Police Director Altin Qato, who called on drivers Monday to comply with road rules, from the weather situation with rainfall and snow across the country.
“In order to prevent road events, Road Police appeal for all drivers and pedestrians to regorize road rules, drivers and vehicles to improve speed, maintain distance, avoid wrong parades at any moment, to line up in cases where there is an increased flow of means or slow movement due to heavy rainfall, establish seat belts, helmets, fail to manage vehicles under the influence of alcohol, or in a drunken state, not use the mobile vehicle, as there are going to deal with the legal sanctions, and the pre-trial constitutions, he said.
The whole of 2021 has resulted in a significant increase in accidents on the streets of Albania, which have also been associated with a high number of victims.
The tenth of 2021, according to INSTAT, numbers between 1,000 and 151 road accidents and 165 victims.
Problem is that most of the accidents were carried out by the 25-34 age group. Every three causes of accident, one belongs to this age. Accidents in this age group have increased by 9.4 per cent, compared to the same period a year ago, while it is taught that most of them have occurred because of the driver's wrong maneuvers.
