France, Germany, Italy, Britain and America say to Kosovo: Apply land registration for Decani Monastery

The chiefs of missions of France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom and the United States of America in Kosovo have expressed concern over the failure to fully implement the census of the Decani Monastery, in line with the 2016 Constitutional Court's decision. They feel that failure to comply with this decision and other court decisions [...]
According to them, failing to comply with this decision and other court decisions undermines the Government's pledge to enforce rule of law and its respect for independent judiciarys.
“The functions of France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom and the United States of America remain concerned that despite continued promotion by the international community and Kosovo's own judiciary, Kosovo institutions have not yet fully implemented the legal land registration of the Decani Monastery in line with the Constitutional Court's decision of 2016”, it is said in their joint statement.
Among other things, this statement stresses that implementation of these decisions presents fundamental responsibilities for the country's democratic consolidation.
The failure to comply with this decision and other court decisions undermines the government's pledge to implement rule of law and its respect for independent judiciary. The implementation of these decisions presents fundamental democratic responsibilities necessary for Kosovo's democratic consolidation and future Euro-Atlantic integration. Once again, we encourage the Government of Kosovo to put political differences aside, embrace its democratic responsibilities, and fully implement all decisions of Court”, the statement said.
