German green MP has visited a village in Serbia and spoke to local residents who are rejecting the opening of a Litium mine.
Von Croamon was asked about the European Commission document, which says President Vuciq has pledged support for the Litium Mine Project, she said she has been amazed at what she has seen in Loznica, the place where the mine is being tried to build.
The local community is fairly afraid and I fully understand their resistance. I expect full transparency on all sides and will investigate all claims cited in the European Commission document and the meeting of President Vuciq with Rio Tinto Company. Citizens should be informed and involved in the whole process because it directly affects them and their rights”, Von Cromon said.
During Von Cromon's visit to Serbia, a group of President Vuciq's sympathisers have cheered before her with the words “Kosovo is the heart of Serbia” and “You can get Kosovo from”.
