Vjosa Osmani: No negotiations with organised crime was helped by certain politicians

She has demanded that there be no negotiations with organised crime and smuggling.

This type of crime has always been multiethnic.

She says smugglers have also received assistance from Kosovo's appointed politicians, but not to mention them by names.

Now that this war on crime is true, unnegotiable, and non-negotiable, we expect the EU to remain loyal to the values of the rule of law that it itself represents. Osman.

President's response:

Fighting organised crime is non-negotiable and non-negotiable. To negotiate and compromise with crime is to become one of them. Therefore, today's action of Kosovo police and customs, authorised by justice institutions, cannot be called “action in the north”, because it was action in different parts of Kosovo, against persons of different ethnicities, which the joint had smuggled and organised crime. This type of crime has always been multiethnic. Some Albanians in the south and several Serbs in the north and persons of other ethnicities, often assisted by specific politicians, have organised this crime for years. But those days are over. The fight against organised crime does not have the signal of ethnic affiliation, but of belonging to criminal groups. Whoever tries to present it differently is a helper to criminal groups, which the EU has been seeking to fight for two decades. Now that this war on crime is true, uncompetitive, and non-negotiable, we expect the EU to remain loyal to the values of the rule of law that it represents.
