I want Lipa honored by the Atlantic Council as one of the winners of the “Award for the concerned Leadership” for 2021.
Albanian-born pop star will be presented at a Gala pricing ceremony to be held on November 10th in the “Andrew auditorium W. Mellon” in Washington DC.
This gala evening will also serve to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Atlantic Council promoting the US constructive leadership along with global allies.
The “Fitters of this prize represent the best of transatlantic relations. At a moment in history during which unprecedented challenges require extraordinary leaders is a privilege to honour this extraordinary group of winners”, the president and executive director of the Atlantic Council Frederick Kempe has said.
I want Lipa will be honoured with “The award of concerned Artistic Leadership” for its excellent musical career and its commitment to philanthropic causes, including the empowerment of the next generation of leaders and musicians from the Balkans.
The Atlantic Council in the announcement also mentioned the Dois's work with its foundation “Sunny Hill”, which aims to improve life in Kosovo, broadcasts Klankosova.tv.
Kosovar Doa Lipa, who has won world success, will join Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani at the Gala Award-sharing ceremony where the latter will also give a speech.
The Atlantic Council will also honour European Commission President Ursula von der Leenen, who will receive “Award for the concerned International Leadership”.
