A woman whose husband has disappeared during the Kosovo war takes her life in her own hands. Fahrija has no news of her husband. She, alone, cares for her two children and sick father - in - law. This is, in short, the subject of film “Hive” (Received), a 2021 co-production between Kosovo, Albania, Switzerland and Macedonia. The main roles in this movie are played: Yllka Gashi Chun Lajci and Auria Agushi. The film is based on a true story happening in Krusha the Great, in the village in which one of the major massacres of war has been made in Kosovo.
The film has won, among other things, three awards at the prestigious Sundance Festival: The audience's prize, the title prize, the Grand Jury of World Cinema. “Rued” is nominated by Kosovo for the Oscar Award.
