Fetah, PDK: Justice confirmed Elez Khan citizens' will for Chairman Mehmet Ballage

Faton Fetah, the PDK candidate for chairman of Elez Khan, Mehmet Ballage, has confirmed that the Supreme Court has cancelled PZAP's decision to be elected in this municipality, which was won without a run-off by Mehmet Ballage.

Fetah has written on his Facebook page that justice to will expressed by vote to the citizens of Hani Elez came to the country.

Lawyer Faton Fetah's complete statement:

I am extremely happy that, as a new lawyer, I am beginning the job of establishing justice for citizens of Elez's Hann municipality, their democraticly expressed will in the October 17th elections of Chairman Mehmet Ballzhi.

The Supreme Court today ruled on the Elez Khan election process and justice for citizens is coming to the country.

The quality of authorized candidate representative for chairman Mr. Mehmet Ballzhi, as soon as I accepted the verdict from the Supreme Court of Kosovo, that the complaint I filed has been adopted as a whole as a base.

This Supreme Court ruling is important for several reasons: the first, stamps free, fair and democratic elections in the municipality of Hani Elez; the second confirms Mr. Mehmet Ballage; the third, clearly redefines the conditions and circumstances under which the Venice Commission can apply to the preservation and promotion of the will of the citizens expressed in the elections, which the will cannot be completely ignored or eliminated easily as I proposed in the complaint.

I congratulate Mr. Chairman. The confrontation for steadfast trust in justice and which joined you without hesitation my deep conviction that this process will be established in his favor.

Finally, I wish the citizens of Elez Khan for their new chairman and Democratic Party of Kosovo for the great contribution to maintaining the integrity of the October 17th elections.
