Rangers' coach and Liverpool legend Steven Gerard has sharply criticised Chelsea for firing Frank Lampard from coaching, but has admitted that he was not surprised to realize that his former associate in the National of England had lost his job.
Blue legend was dismissed by the post of Chelsea coach on Monday, 18 months after being appointed after the club's decision to split roads with Maurizio Sarin.
Despite the club legend statute and the best goalsmen in the club's history, Lamard was not immune to the prestigious style of owner Roman Abramovich.
Chelsea was the leader of Premierliga at the beginning of the season, but a performance of poor results led to a decline in the ninth position, which resulted in Lampard's dismissal.
Gerard says he feels sad and disappointed about Lampard, as well as highlights that he deserved more time.
Rangers' coach said: “But knowing him, I know he'll be back in no time. ”

He added: “I think this was a good opportunity for Chelsea to help her through a difficult period because of poor results, not download it. But Chelsea is historically known for this, so I'm not surprised at”.
