On July 15, 2012, the world of music seemed to be blocking after the publication of the song hit by K-Pop, “Gangnam Style”. Why, an artist from South Korea who wrote and recorded the song, would soon be recorded in the international arena right after the song.
Psych managed to bring K-Pop to the international stage, including North America, as never before. All of a sudden, everyone's attention, such as the Netflix platform, looked into South Korean culture. Looks like “Gangnam Sticke” and then the next song, “Gentlemen”, opened the way to many K-pop artists and groups, such as BTS, BlackPink or 2NE1.

“Gangnam Style” referred to the Gangnam District area of Seoul in South Korea. The area is known as too many trains, hip, class and not only was inspired by Psy, whose real name is Park Jae-sang.
Right after publication, “Gangnam Style” ranked first as YouTube's most clicked video, which no longer holds, but still remains one of the most successful songs. It currently numbers more than 3.9 billion views. In addition, he did so at the time as well as the characteristic song dance.

After the success of “Gangnam Sticke” and “Gentlemen”, he founded the musical lab P Nation, who has signed K-Pop-star contracts like HyunA and EAWn. He goes on to play music, but mostly he produces for others in his lab, which certainly has his own profits.
According to Busines Insider, Psy made over $10 million just out of YouTube views. Today, his fortune is $60 million.
