Political parties have begun holding gatherings and campaigning, due to early elections on February 14th.
These gatherings are not considered normal because we are still endangered by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Therefore, the Pristina municipality's Inspection has begun to take measures, imposing fines on parties that violate anti measures - CO VID.
As of January 11th, Inspection has pronounced 14,000 euros in fines against political subjects.
Pristina Inspection Director Adonis Tahiri had warned the political parties that if they did not respect the anti-Convid measures, they would be fined the amount of 2,000 euros, as is seen in the Law for the Prevention and Fighting of pandemic.
On January 11th, Tahiri announced that Inspection has imposed a fine on the Democratic League of Kosovo.

No one on the law! Implementation of measures to prevent the spread of the virus is necessary. The violations are sanctioned on the basis of the Law for the Prevention and Combat of COVID-19 in the territory of the Republic of Kosovo ʹ Article 25, paragraph 11x1>, Tahiri wrote on Facebook.
He called for political parties to respect the laws and decisions they have voted for themselves.
We call on political subjects to respect the laws and decisions they have personally voted on. On the contrary, the fines go to the party headquarters for each gathering in Pristina”, Tahiri said.
Tahir's call, however, was not respected. Political parties continued gathering, against the Law in power.
On January 19th, the Pristina Inspection pronounced fines even on two political subjects.
The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo and the Initiative were the next parties to be fined 2 thousand euros.
