The famous actor (65) was seen entering and leaving a pharmacy in California without a face mask, and other customers protested after he failed to follow specific measures, so the pharmacy staff asked him to leave immediately.
“was an error in assessment,” Willis told People magazine, adding that “should be careful and continue to wear” masks, reports the BBC.
Last year, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti introduced a measure that facial masks should always be kept out of the house to help in the fight against COVID-19, with certain exceptions, children under the age of two and persons with certain disabilities.
Many people reacted negatively to breaking Willis' rules on Twitter and in October, his wife Emma Heming Willis shared a picture in which she and her husband and their two daughters wore facial masks outside.
