Bekim Haxhiu speaks of the Law on Transplantation of Organs, Initiated but Never Approved

Haxhiu has written that the Law on Transplanting Organs was initiated at the Commission for Health, but now because of elections it will return to zero.

He stressed that there was an effort for this Law to be adopted in 2013, but that Law was withdrawn from the Ministry of Health after EULEX's request.

“This mandate in The Health Commission has initiated the adoption of this Law on Transplantation of Organs, but because of elections this process will now be returned to zero”, Haxhiu wrote on Facebook.
