Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman Lior Hayat has thanked Kosovo, whose government made the decision to join states that fight anti-Semitism.
“Israel commends Foreign Minister Melza Haradinaj, who took important steps for the decision to list Kosovo side by side with states that fight anti-Semitism”, has written Hayat.
Foreign Affairs Minister Melza Haradinaj has written yesterday that “the hatred of Jews has also caused the Holocaust, which today is one of the world's sadest and most shameful memories”.
Kosovo, itself being the victim of monstrous ideas of ethnic cleansing and dissolving its identity, well understands the burden of discrimination. Furthermore, today's adoption of the Government's decision affirms the commitment to promote and strengthen memory of the Holocaust, and to combat Antisemitism in all its forms, and is in harmony with all democratic states that do not know anti-Semitic hate languages”, it was said in its post after the Government meeting.
