A woman about 48 years old this morning allegedly committed suicide today in Gjakova.
The police director for the Gjakova region, Lumni Graste, has confirmed the case, who has said police have been notified by the hospital's emergency that it has been brought into serious condition, while the health care doctor has said she had arrived in the hospital without signs of life.
“Around 10:35 Police have been reported by the emergency of the regional hospital in Gjakova that one person has been brought to serious condition by its family. Police units have responded to the case, and from the health care doctor have found that the female victim of about 48 years old has arrived without signs of life. According to the first information, the victim committed suicide. In consultation with the state prosecutor the case has been initiated as a death investigation”, Graish said.
He has added that in the case regional investigation units of the Gjakova Police are being taken, while the victim's lifeless body has been sent for autopsy at the Institute of Legal Medicine in Pristina (IML)
