Palmer: For America, parallels between Kosovo and Bosnian Republika Srpska

There is no parallel between Kosovo and Republika Srpska in Bosnia for the United States, US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Matthew Palmer has declared on Wednesday in Sarajevo. Kosovo is a state and we have diplomatic reports with it. As far as Republika Srpska is concerned, the framework for the political future is set up with the Dayton peaceful agreement, and it is about Bosnia's future as an independent state of incompatible territorial integrity. That future is the best for everyone in Bosnia. We would very much like to have agreements between Kosovo and Serbia, which would pave the way to the EU”, Palmer stressed.
Speaking about the agreement between Hoti and Vuciqi in Washington, Palmer has stressed that the agreement is directed to support for normalising economic reports.
Economic normalisation would have to enable political normalisation of reports. I was in Brussels a few days ago and talked to Lajcak, Vuchy and Hoti. I told them that the US supports the EU-led process and I would not include Bosnia at all in such processes. What is happening with the Bosnian Serb Republic is the internal issue of Bosnia, and this is the position of Vucinqi”, Palmer has said.
