For eight months, six murdered women and dozens of other sexually violated and assaulted women

Six women have been killed in Kosovo's entire territory since January this month and August, and dozens more have been violated, assaulted or sexually abused.

According to official Kosovo Police reports on news.net, 65 attempted murders occurred in eight months and 12 murders occurred. In the same period of time, however, there have been 10 cases of serious attempted murder and 11 serious murders have occurred within eight months.

Of 12 murders, two victims were women, one from Peja and one from Prizren.

Meanwhile, of 11 serious murders, four victims were women, three from the municipality of Gjilan and one from Ferizaj.

Kosovo police have reported on news.net, that within this period of time there were 39 cases of rape, two cases have been attempted rape, while 38 have been sexual assault.

Given the official data of the Kosovo Police, as well as these eight months, there has been a case of the trafficking victim's sexual service, four cases have been of degradation of sexual integrity.

However, children have been prey besides adults.

According to the Kosovo Police, for eight months, two children have been misused for pornography, reports news.net.

There have also been two cases of activity “defeat or forced into prostitution” and a case of the “delivery of prostitution premises”.

An incestist - sexual relations within the family - has also occurred during this period.

It should be noted that the murders of women who made a big fuss this year in Kosovo were the case in Gjilan, where a policeman killed four members of her family, including her mother and who had later committed suicide, as well as the other murder that occurred in the Kamenica municipality, where her husband had murdered his wife in a macabre manner.
