Jurgen Klopp's team was favoured before the match, even though Arsenal has improved markedly under current coach Michael Arteta, the Periscope broadcasts.

However, the judge, Craig Pawson, was forced to make a big decision early in the match, following an intervention by Sadio Mane in Kierran Tierney.
Running, joining Tierney, after the ball, Mane punched his opponent in the face.
This incident occurred in the first two minutes, and this may have influenced Passon to punish him only in yellow.
