Two days ago at the University Clinical Centre in Kosovo, the aunt of journalist Vehbi Kajtazi, of whom family members have doubts that she has not been treated properly, has died.
The 73-year-old girl was feeling worse while she was at Peja Hospital, until after moving to KKUK she was away for more than three hours at any clinic.
After her death doctors have told family that she was affected by Avid-19, although in two previous tests she had resulted in negative. The family have insisted that autopsys be shown, the results of which are accepted today by the erring Institute of Legal Medicine.
In this case, Gazeta Inseder's editor-in-chief, Wehbi Kaitazi, has accused the state of killing his 73-year-old aunt. Cateazi has shown in detail how her treatment was ignored until she was in a coma.
The case reported yesterday in the media is about my aunt's death. Doctors have repeatedly told me it's negative until the day of my death. Yesterday I was told that it was positive twice. I have the insist on becoming an autopsy. Today's result for David 19 turns out to be negative.
This result proves that humans are dying like animals, without proper treatment, no medication, no neglect. My aunt might have survived if she was eventually admitted to one of the special clinics. But she was left in Sports Medicine until she got into a coma.
On the day of transfer from Peja to Pristina for more than three hours has not been admitted to any clinic. After attending sports, my doctor, Benjamin, has asked me to do his best to transfer him to the Infectias or Pulmology. After he fell into a coma three days later.
He moved to Intensive, where he had great care from Dr. Naim Red. But it was already late. My aunt may not have stopped dying, but she has lacked proper care. Today's outcome of Legal Medicine forces me to doubt proper treatment.
That's why I, Vehbi Kateazi, accuse the state of her death!”, wrote Cateazi on Twitter.
