For the third time before MPs, the Law for Economic Regeneration has come out for a vote, as Kosovo, like the world, is facing the Devud-19 pandemic, which causes trouble and economic impasse.
On behalf of the Government of Kosovo, Finance Minister Hykmete Bajrami has called for the vote of deputies, saying that this law has not only intended to remove 10 per cent from the Kosovo trust, but that there are a series of benefits expected to take citizens and businesses with the voting of this law.
He has some elements in this law. The opening of ten new windows within Kosovo's credit fund, the coverage of interest for all businesses that receive loans from the Fund, the possibility that even small but registered farms will benefit from this fund. The law also allows 100m euros since the Kosovo Privatisation Agency have been sent for capital investments, to be used for transferences and subsidies for private sector enterprises”, Bajrami said.
It goes on to list all actions expected to be taken with the voting of this law, showing that, among other things, through this law, the government's plan for recovery will be experienced.
Bajrami also said that with the adoption of this law, changes will be made in other laws that are directly related to the separation of funds from this law, and also with the basis of amendments to tax laws, citizens will be able to postpone their taxes for a certain period, as obligations to the state.
It shows that money is earmarked for the Ministry of Agriculture, for education, so it has asked everyone to vote in favor of this law.
We at the next government meeting will see that through the programme for recovery, to begin, the subsidies to the line of salaries, we have predicted that private businesses should not apply, we will give a certain amount to each company, that amount will be 50-60m euros. We've divided 5 million for the municipalities and the Ministry of Education, in fact there are 10 million but the rest are left for the next half. Twelve million at the Ministry of Agriculture. Once again, I urge you to delay the law and sit down together to get all your”, Bajrami stressed.
