On Thursday, September 10th, 7:00 in Tirana will be signed the historic agreement between the Albanian Basketball Federation (FSHB) and the Kosovo Basketball Federation (FBK) for the establishment of the basketball League, between the two states, to be called “UNICE League”
The deal will be signed, the president of the FSHB, Mr. Avni Ponari, the chairman of FBK, Mr. Arben Fetah, in the presence of Mrs. Besa Sahini, Minister of Education, Sports and Youth in Albania and Mrs. Vlora Doshori, Minister for Culture, Youth and Kosovo Sports.
Attending this ceremony will be the prime minister of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Edi Rama, who will also discover the Evil logo UNICE.
After a long and intense work between the two federations, the dream of developing the basketball activities of Albanian trains is finally being experienced.
Eight teams -- four best from Kosovo -- will participate in the Unic League and four best from Albania.
The Unic League is expected to begin soon, during this sports edition, and is projected to be very interesting, raising the interest of Albanian fans, while there is expected to be a lot of rivalry among teams involved in this competition.
And Thursday the League Steering Board U n NICH, consisting of 2 members of the FAB and FBK Borders, as well as the 2 Secretary-Generals of the two Federations, will hold the first meeting, where they will also appoint the Chairman of the Steering Board, and appoint the staff of the League office. UNICE.
It should be stressed that this is a big step for basketball in Albanian space by forming W-W league NICE.
This project has been supported by the basketball community in Albania and Kosovo, viewing it as a long-awaited event and also supported by FIBA Europe.
