Strange football stories have lots, especially out of the field. But you don't often hear about a former international footballer who has risked being killed for money-related issues. The organizer was... his wife. It happened to Turkish Emre Asik, who in his career played Galatasaray, Fenerbahce of Besikta, who almost... almost gave up his life.
V RELIGION Emree of Ya Barmur Asik married in 2012, they are not divorced and have three children. Yet, as the AS, the former footballer's wife -- with over 30 presences with the Turkish national between 1993 and 2010 -- is accused of trying to kill her husband. The woman has been put in contact with a hit man who has offered 10 million Turkish lira (a little more than 1m euros) to kill the former defender and bury him in a safe place. In the end, the plan failed because the killer himself decided to show the former footballer. Before addressing the contract killers, Emre's wife has asked her boyfriend, and he's arrested, to kill her husband.
I LOVE He has shown some more details about what happened: “I have a connection with Ya Barmur and she just thought about inheriting the money she would receive after Emre Asik's death. He asked me to kill him, but I said no. Once he brought me a piece of meat, he wanted me to shoot him. I tried to do it, but I closed my eyes and she said, "You're not able to do it. " There came the decision to address a professional whose wife, according to the prosecution, has provided the weapon with which she searched the area around the city of Düzce to find the site to bury the corpse. But lucky for Emre Asik, the hired killer had a conscience.
