The evil plan of the former noted footballer's wife: He offered a million euros to pay killers to kill and bury their husband

Strange football stories have lots, especially out of the field. But you don't often hear about a former international footballer who has risked being killed for money-related issues. The organizer was... his wife. It happened to Turkish Emre Asik, who in his career played Galatasaray, Fenerbahce of Besikta, who almost... almost gave up his life.

Yet, as the AS, the former footballer's wife -- with over 30 presences with the Turkish national between 1993 and 2010 -- is accused of trying to kill her husband. The woman has been put in contact with a hit man who has offered 10 million Turkish lira (a little more than 1m euros) to kill the former defender and bury him in a safe place. In the end, the plan failed because the killer himself decided to show the former footballer. Before addressing the contract killers, Emre's wife has asked her boyfriend, and he's arrested, to kill her husband.
