The famous Albanian media, Top Channel, has released generalisations of what is thought to be the indictment file against President Thaci, PDK chairman Veselini, VV member Selimi and others.
The following is the teskt compiled by this medium.
Establishing the indictment against Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselin and some of the members of the KLA's General Staff, by the special prosecutor on 24 June 2020, shocked all of Kosovo again.
From the moment of publicising the accusations until now, many questions have been raised about what evidence special prosecutors have provided? Who are the alleged episodes of war crimes being consumed?
What is the number that lost their lives in KLA detentions, including the executed persons and the main ones who are witnesses to this Hague file.
All these questions starting today and the next days will be given a exclusive answer to Top-Channel journalist Muhamed Veliu. From a source at the special prosecution in The Hague, we possess the complete file with the cofidencial inscription, which has over 260 pages. This file is the base of the indictment building by the special prosecutor.
Top Channel will not publish any names or details that identify, special prosecution witnesses mentioned in this file.
This Hague file has ended up compiled in December 2019 and is an executive review of the circumstances for alleged crimes.
Prosecutors say two were categories of persons An aggressive target by the KLA resulted in 87 casualties.
The first chapter stops in crimes produced as a result of the torture and inhuman treatment of those whom the KLA had declared to be Serbian accomplices or traitors, including the LDK people with access to Kosovo's weapons liberation.
This chapter also stops at the wheel of arbitrary ban and their non-human conditions in detention in some betting areas of the KLA.
Several murders are then listed outside these detentions occurred in Berisha's mountains area.
Sentencing unjust punishment and then executing persecution are part of the indictment.
In chapter two, titled the joint goal, under the subheading “was a common goal of bringing Kosovo” into full 33 pages prosecutors explain the creation of the KLA and the strong clash with LDK, from the KLA's founding dome.
“Preparing and implementing common goal” is named chapter 3 in this Hague file.
The first page of this file lists evidence to establish KLA's high-level lead responsibilities for crimes occurring at several detention points during the 1998/1999 period.
From analysis of the evidence collected, special prosecutors say they could potentially accuse five people who are.
Azem Syla, Hashim Thaci, Jakup Krasniqi, Kadri Veselini and Rexhep Selimi.
On page three The files prosecutors start clarifying what they call the criminal League of Responsibilities, however, underline that further analysis will likely be needed.
There is relatively limited evidence for direct participation for those who could potentially be charged with crimes, as well as that evidence for participation that exists, there are no need related to crimes the Special Prosecutor investigates in order to press charges of”. It says in the file.
However, even though prosecutors themselves admit they have limited evidence they insist the accused will find it difficult to deny being aware of the detention sites.
Prosecutors stress that the evidence they have demonstrated, that most of the detentions were central to KLA structures and at the same time the strong bases of this army, in the areas of Llapasica and Licoci, including Drenoci of Jablanica.
All of those accused say prosecutors, are the leading part of the KLA hierarchy, and these crimes can be fatened to other people like Rustem Mustafa, Lahi Brahimaj and Sylejman Selimi previously convicted of war crimes. For Xhavit Halit and Sabit Gecin, they seek the creation of separate files to see the possibility of their guilt.
Prosecutors on page 5 of the file, we talk about torture and what they describe as inhuman treatment of those whom the KLA publicly considered traitor and accomplices of Serbia, stressing that beyond reasonable suspicion, there is evidence that KLA soldiers have consumed crimes through torture and inhuman treatment.
