The thrilling story of Theago Silva had two weeks of life left tuberculosis

At the age of 21, Theago Silva was hospitalized for six months while diagnosed with bacterial infection while in Dynamo Moscow in 2005.

Tuberculosis was so advanced, even doctors said that part of his lungs should be removed to ensure survival. Simply put, the doctors told him that he was two weeks away from death and was extremely fortunate that the disease was discovered over time.

I was in the hospital for six months. I weighed 10 kilos less”, Theago told The Sun.

That would effectively imply that he would have to quit football.

During that dark time, Silva thought of retirement, but despite that, he continued his dream.
