OVL head- UCMPB's in the Presevo Valley, Nazmi Hajredin, took care of Serbia's Police yesterday.
The latter went home from where they asked him to remove the Albanian flag from there.
This was announced by Hajredini himself by a Facebook post, while the same showed that the flag there was set before a planned wedding.
The “Albanians of eastern Kosovo have long not been considered by the state of Serbia citizens with equal rights to others. The discrimination is not recently viewed, or observed. Such discrimination is a century - long existence. We are also denied basic rights that deserve a people as flag, language, national history, and so on. Fresher example of abuse of Albanian rights in eastern Kosovo is the presentation of police to the home of national affairs, once both Mr. OVL and Mr. Nazim Hajredini. The police asked Mr. Hajredin to remove the national flag placed on the doors of the house as Albanian tradition wants it on the occasion of the start of the darsmas”, said the report.
Hajredini further expressed indignation at this move, noting the fact that Serbs in Kosovo enjoy all rights, meanwhile, Albanians in the Valley do not have the right either to use national symbols.

Eastern Kosovo Albanians have long not been considered by the state of Serbia citizens with equal rights. Hajredin to remove the national flag placed on the doors of the house as Albanian tradition wants it on the occasion of the start of the dams. Understandably, such provocation is not spared even when it is involved in a family party. National flags are used in eastern Kosovo during private family parties and organisations. It doesn't seem to apply to Mr. Hajredin. Until in Kosovo, Serbs enjoy rights with elementary statehood, we are not allowed national symbols either in family joys. The Hajredini family reacts to this provocation, suggesting to the public that the Eastern Kosovo Albanians continue to be threatened by not allowing them to use national symbols, even other elements of Albanian autochthonia. With deep indignation we express our family response to these careless and uncivilising actions by Serbian police authorities in Presevo. History, culture, tradition, language, flag, wedding, death, have been evidence of Albanian antiquity on these lands. They are ours, we will preserve and protect them until this is where the latest Albanian genius will breathe.
