Justice Minister Selim Selim Selimi and Minister of Foreign Affairs Melza Haradinaj-Stubla have met Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Matthew Palmer.
The opportunity to intensify Kosovo's state agenda in bringing our country together with the Euro-Atlantic family has been discussed, progress in empowering rule of law and opening up a new perspective on the Kosovo-Serbia agreement.
Kosovo is committed to advancing special relations and permanent friendship with the United States and always loyal to the strategic interests of the friendly state.
” Today in Washington, along with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspores, Melise Haradinaj- Stublla, a meeting of Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Matthew Palmer, for intensifying Kosovo's state agenda in linking our country with the Euro-Atlantic family, progress in empowering rule of law and opening up a new and dynamic perspective for achieving the legally binding agreement with recognition on the existing borders between Kosovo and Serbia. Without the co-ordination and competition of America, it is difficult to reach any stable agreement. The active role and support of the US, as our strategic ally, is irreplaceable to close all open issues with Serbia” the minister Selimi writes in the statement. /Periscopi/
