The Kosovo delegation, which will face Serbia at the White House at a meeting where even United States President Donald Trump may be present, is on its way to Washington today. The team that will represent the state has spoken from the government.
Around 4 o'clock this morning, the Kosovo delegation, composed of eight people, is headed towards Washington, where by 4 September it will face Serbia at the White House.
The Kosovo-Serbia meeting with the American mediation has been rumoured that it could reconcile states until the final agreement, even though it has consistently rejected it in Serbia.
In the Government of Kosovo, they have told Gazeta Express that the team was launched this morning, providing details and names that have travelled to Washington.
They're starting this morning. Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti, the two deputy prime ministers, Driton Selmanaj and Alboulena Balaj-Halimaj, Justice Minister Selim Selimi, Foreign Affairs Minister Melza Haradina-Stubla, Minister of Infrastructure Arban Abrashi, prime minister's chief of staff, Ardita Dashi and Kosovo's co-ordinator in the dialogue, Skender Hyseni Haradx1>, make news in Government.
The chief executive in the United States has travelled only with coalition partners, as two opposition parties Vetevendosje and the PDK have responded negatively to his invitation.
However, Hoti did not send the invitation to the two heads of state, president of the prime minister, nor has he even been co-ordinated with them before the meeting.
From the presidency days ago, they confirmed that Hoti didn't invite them to the meeting, nor did he ask the representative.
The invitation didn't even take over Chief Editor Vjosa Osmani.
“Kosovo Assembly Speaker Dr. Vjosa Osmani has received no invitation from the prime minister for the meeting at the White House”, Chief Parliamentary Adviser Bekim Cupina has said.
Kosovo and Serbia will face American mediation with September 4th. The meeting was scheduled for September 2nd, but it was postponed for two days later, after allegedly the American President Donald Trump could also attend.
