This has been disclosed through an announcement by the country's prime minister's information office, where it is stressed that Kosovo will benefit 130m euros in total from the EU.
“Procedures for entry into force of these agreements will start as soon as possible, while with their entry into force, Kosovo will benefit in total 138m euros from the EU, while these funds will be implemented combined with more than 40m euros of loan funds in the form of international financial institutions for large infrastructure projects from the field of environment, energy and agriculture, as well as co-financed by the Government of Kosovo for some of the 911 projects, the report is said.
Kosovo will also benefit 20.5m euros as a grant in the budget this year to help fiscal stability and another 6m euros next year.
“From these programmes, in addition, Kosovo will benefit 20.5m euros as a grant to the budget this year to help the country's fiscal stability and another 6m euros next year. Implementation of projects funded by these programmes will spur the country's economic reactivation and will strongly impact the country's economic recovery”, the announcement stressed.
