Although numerous world states were shut down, many social activities were banned as a result of Covid-19, which erupted worldwide at the beginning of this year, this still has not deterred Kosovars from enjoying summer holidays on the Albanian coast.
The Kosovo Police Information Office, in a response to IndexOnline, has indicated that 810 thousand and 71 citizens have emerged during August of this year for Albania.
Compared to last year, there has been a steady rise, since in 2019 during the same period of the year, they crossed the border to Albania at Border Point in Moria 686 thousand and 467 persons.
While it cannot be said that the same interest was also on the part of Albanian citizens to enter Kosovo, this was because at the entrances of persons from August 1st to August 25th of 2020 there were 275 thousand and 452 citizens who entered from Albania to Kosovo, the IndexOnline reported.
And in the same period last year, there were almost half more entry from Albania to Kosovo. More precisely as the KP reports in August 2019 there were 496 thousand and 218 people who entered Kosovo.
Kosovo citizens not only this time but consistently hold the primat of tourists visiting Albania during the summer season.
