KMDLNj through a media communiqué has said that if the information that the COVID-19 test will cost up to 50 euros, while that serological 20 euros, this is unaffordable for citizens.
Full communication:
The Ministry of Health has certified 33 private health institutions to make the test anti-Condavid, although there are still no names of health institutions that have permission from the Ministry of Health.
Even before that, some private health institutions have tested for those who in business matters, tourism or others have had to go to places where these tests are required.
The Ministry of Health, according to the plea in 24 hours, conducted 400 to 500 tests, which are small compared to needs and demands, while the Family Medicine Centre in Pristina has begun to do serological texts that the number is limited.
If the information is accurate, the anti-COVID test costs 50 euros, while that serological, in private health institutions costs 20 euros, which, under heavy economic circumstances, when a large number of Kosovo citizens struggle to survive, this amount is inexplicable.
The Ministry of Health, that of the Year and this of the Zemaj have received considerable means from Kosovo's budget and many donations from the international Community for fighting pandemic, but compared to countries in the region, the number of test is minimal, while the number of infected and victims is enormous.
KMDLNj has reacted several times to the discrimination being done to citizens during testing for COVID-19, they profit unnecessarily, without order and immediately politicians and public figures, while those who really need a necessary trial and immediate treatment may even die waiting in line.
Now, if this price of 50 euros is true, it will make it even more difficult for the most endangered of all levels, while those who have all the possibilities, by making an unworthable profit, only to make the death toll rise. Initially, the suspension of Administrative Guide for the Price of Medicines that provided access to endangered levels to purchase drugs and was temporarily abandoned and the license of private health institutions, at salt prices, could be the introduction and possibility of an invisibility corruption if it is not monitored, audited and investigated if there are doubts of abuse.
KMDLNj is opposed to the gross discrimination being committed to Kosovo citizens by which the health of the majority of citizens who are badly needed on behalf of the protection of a minority, unjustly privileged.
