Jakup Krasniqi dissatisfied with pandemic management, supports PDK involvement in Government

The country, except that it is facing COVID-19 pandemic with high numbers of infected people and victims from this virus, is also facing political arenas and conflicts between coalition partners. On the other hand, the opposition LVV party has launched an initiative for no-confidence motion by the government, Hoti. Chairman of the National Initiative Council [...]

National Social Democrat Initiative Council Chairman Jakup Krasniqi in an interview for Periscope says LVV has the right to launch such a motion and it is their legal right, but that this party would eventually have to see whether it has the votes of all parties.

On the other hand, Krasniqi expresses his dissatisfaction with the management of the pandemic, according to him, the pandemic is not being well managed and guilty according to him is the MSH-expert health triangle and citizens.

Asked whether the Democratic Party of Kosovo should also become part of the government, Krasniqi says the best choice has remained to expand the coalition, but the LDK should consider this idea.

Periscope: The opposition party, LVV, has launched a no-confidence motion against the Hoti Government, what is your comment on this initiative?

Krasniqi: It's a legitimate opposition right to ask for a no-confidence motion for Hoti Government, but before the motion was made, his researcher has to think whether he has numbers for achieving the goal. If he doesn't have the numbers and makes the no-confidence motion, he did a good service to the Hoti government. So the motion is legal and constitutional right of the opposition. But the motion could also be an additional law enforcement of the current government

Periscope: The country is facing the COVID-19 pandemic, just like the whole world. What do you think of the recent management of the O.N. with the coronobrus?

Krasniqi: I consider that COVID-19's pandemic in Kosovo has not been managed well and that responsibility cannot be addressed only to one factor, though the MSH is the main one. But the problem of failing to function public health has a longer history. Public money management has been and continues to remain the main problem, and not only for this important public health sector. Education is not in the position of politics being so careless another flaw seems to be, not functioning harmoniously of three necessary factors: Government (MSH) ) health experts and citizens and without these three factors working out well, pandemic management makes it more difficult. Hopefully, these three factors will be in harmony and service to citizen health in the future

Periscope: More recently, there have been disagreements between the ruling coalition partners. Would the expansion of this coalition, the inclusion of the PDK in the government, be necessary?

Krasniqi: If we look at how the ruling coalitions have worked after independence, it is clearly seen that during all these years in Kosovo, many cultures of coalition formation have been missing and then their functioning. Of course, in the functioning of the ruling coalitions, and especially in recent years, there have been many shortcomings, but the biggest flaw has been, not their formation on the basis of what they have in common for the state and its functioning, but on the basis of the separation of “culaci”? Therefore, no governing coalition has taken its mandate to the end. Another big big problem is red lines that in election campaigns make political parties. Apparently this coalition remains the best choice to expand the ruling coalition. But that's why I have to think about the party that leads with Government. In our governments one thing is seen, the governing is not a wish, but it is a knowledge of the culture of management with people and public money this form of government, that of good governance in these years of Independence we are not yet seeing it! Perhaps the future will bring good governance to the right people. Let's hope so./ P ERISCOPI/
