In the case of August 30th, International Day of Undiscovered Persons, tonight in the Great Krusha have been homazed at the memorial complex, as has become the lighting of the flares. In this case, Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti was called on at Washington's meeting with the Serbian side to open up the subject of missing persons.
The representative of the family of the unemployed, Peace Hoti, during the lighting of flares in memory of missing persons now 21 years after the end of the war in Kosovo, has said they are earnestly seeking to deal with the issue of the found.
The “here behind us, on the occasion of the August 30th, International Day of the Violent Extinction, we are symbolically gathered to remember and demand of all people, from all political actors who will deal with this sensitive issue, to do more for the ultimate whitening of the undiscovered past”, Hoti said.
Chairman of the Co-ordination Council of Associations Family Members People Unfinded, Ahmet Gajchev has said that even after more than two decades of end of the war, whitewashing the fate of the found.
He said the international community should help clarify the fate of the found.
“Krusha is badly damaged today. On the way to the left, the right side, we see the tomb of martyrs, the tomb of martyrs, the cemetery of children, and we came to Krusha, as it were, the order is very long from the Serb barbarian hand that committed crime against this innocent population... I hope that the international community will make greater pressure to whiteen the fate of the found people, as Kosovo still has 1641 missing. I hope that even our officials in the talks are under pressure and are forced to do the pressure because without a major pressure from the international community on Belgrade, the fate of the undiscovered” will not be lightened, Gajchev said.
While, Kumrie Karacica from the Association for Missing Persons, has an appeal for Prime Minister Hoti prior to his September meeting with the Serbian party at the White House.
“Kishim appealed to the prime minister who will travel to Washington for discussion to be the issue of missing persons, because it's a very long time since we've been waiting for those 1641 missing who have been taken alive from Kosovo and tortured, slaughtered and destroyed their tracks, disappeared and sent to Serbia”, Karaqica has said.
