Institutions of the Republic of Kosovo are receiving information from international armed troops officials KFOR about the introduction of Serbian gendarmerie in the village of Karacheva in Kamenica.
Defence Minister Anton Quinn has confirmed that since last night, the collection of details about the operation of the Serbian gendarmerie on our territory has begun.
The first MM showed, for “Ineksonline”, that in this case there was a direct conversation with the commander of NATO forces in Kosovo, KFOR, Major General Michele Reese.
“We are in contact with municipality authorities, prime minister, KFOR commander. So we're collecting information to understand exactly what happened. I personally spoke with KFOR commander. We are awaiting precise information and explanations made by KFOR command”, he has indicated.
Otherwise, Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti has said all relevant organs have been committed to assess the case.
“I'll soon have a detailed report. Our citizens in that part will not be without the protection of institutions. Our actions will be in line with the constitution and the law, as well as co-ordinated with all security mechanisms in the country”, it has been expressed.
