Three coronary physical therapists are fighting for life, severely criticised SKKUK

O The FTK has stated that it has accepted numerous complaints from its members who are assisting the Covid clinics, who are doing physical work like carrying candy, only to help hospital service at the time of the pandemic.

According to OFTK, USKKKK has not respected the Labour Law, leaving the physical therapists more than a month at the Covis clinics.

The Kosovo Physiotherapists' Oda has consistently expressed its members' readiness for solidarity and co-operation to stop the virus and reduce the often unforeseen effects of measures designed to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The Oda of Kosovo's Physiotherapists recalls responsible health institutions, that the willingness to help cope with this pandemic, in any form, does not imply the exercise of jobs for which Fiziotherapists are not licensed and trained.

The Kosovo Physiotherapists' Oda with deep concern has accepted many complaints from its members about the discrimination treatment of the Fiziotrapists during confronting the COVID pandemic 19 within Kosovo's health system and with particular emphasis within the framework of the Kosovo Hospital and University Clinic (SHSKUK).

OFTK members are willing even further to help deal with the pandemic in the professional aspect of what we are capable of, in particular, in pulmonary problems and in the consequences that COVID 19.

Already after the passage of more than a month of the Fiziorapes' commitment, we have the first consequences that have come from not training Fiziotherapists in coping with these consequences, unlike other professions for which such training has been held.

As a result, at least 11 physical therapists have already tested positive for COVID 19, 3 of whom are facing war for their lives.

OFTK against addressing these concerns for several times, has not found answers on the part of institutions, so we are forced to address them even with this public announcement.

The OFTK requires that health bodies in temporary systematisation take into account legislation in force, with which it is determined that temporarily managed employee cannot be in that position for more than 30 working days. (ven 18 paragraph 2 of the Labour Law. 03 L-212).

The daily reporting of our members has been noted on dozens of occasions when Physiotherapists have done the jobs for which they are not responsible to the physical labor of carrying cones to oxygen and other materials just to benefit patients, but that there is not after the assessment of our commitment from the institutional carrier.

So it is disappointing to approach Government, MSH and SHSKUK in relation to the health professions of physical therapy which have been discriminated against by institutions, separately over the over-intensity and discrimination of our profession in relation to the money measures in the fiscal package, and the recovery of the economy and the decisions of the Government of Kosovo on wage supplements in which we are completely discriminated against, despite our members having been unreserved in their contribution within health institutions in dealing with this without having to be seen.

We have been, we are, and will continue to stand by to offer service to our patients and aid to our institutions, but exercising only our duties and responsibilities as health professionals of physical therapy.
