Kosovo's policy should be aware that it will not go to any meeting where the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity will be questioned, political affairs connoisseur Ramush Tahiri has said an interview for Online Economy.

Other than that Tahiri, speaking of dialogue with Serbia launched since 2011, added that a conviction has been created that Kosovo must pay a price for recognition. “Dialog unfortunately has not developed well for Kosovo since the beginning. Serbia has returned to the stage as a party for Kosovo and for its fate. Serbia has thrown the syntagma because it does not want Albanians to win altogether, and Serbs are completely lost, and on this basis it is opposing Kosovo's independence”. “ ... A conviction has been established that Kosovo must pay a price for recognition from Serbia, and whatever price Kosovo pays would create a surrogacy state”.

Kosovo's “Policy should be aware and Serbia should treat as another state and not go into any talks that would be against the interests of Kosovo and that would question sovereignty and territorial integrity”. Analyst Tahiri has even said international pressure is becoming more towards Kosovo than Serbia. He said that if a condition is set for Kosovo, then it is not reasonable that the Kosovo delegation in Washington will take part on September 4th. “International pressure is becoming more from Kosovo than from Serbia. Serbia is going to the meeting declaring it does not recognise Kosovo's independence. If a condition is set, I see no reason why the Kosovo delegation will participate. The goal is normalising relations and normalising relations cannot be made without mutual recognition”.

According to him, President Donald Trump's role is very important and kind to Kosovo, and without the United States, it is difficult to maintain independence, reports EO.“American President Donald Trump is an international authority and is committed to Kosovo and is interested in closing the issue because the issues normalise relations between Kosovo and Serbia” “The role of Trump is very important and kind to Kosovo, and without the US, Kosovo has a hard time preserving its independence”.

The leaders of Kosovo and Serbia are expected to meet 4 September at the White House in Washington, at the invitation that has been extended to National Security adviser Robert O'Brain. This meeting was originally scheduled for September 2nd. But he was delayed for two days later. And on 7 September, the delegations of both countries represented at the highest political level are expected to meet in Brussels, by Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti and Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq
