He stole his wallet from an elderly patient in COVID-19 in March. According to Italian media, on March 13th, the elderly man, a 66-year-old man from Civate al Piano (Bergamo), was admitted to hospital in the Bergamo area with symptoms of coronary.
The nurse, living in Boltiere (Bergamo), with the help of his girlfriend, stole her husband's wallet, spending a 6 thousand euros on his credit card.
The health of 66-year-old deteriorated on March 18th and died in intensive care on April 18th.
Members of the victim's family saw unusual moves in the bank account and resorted to a lawsuit in Romano di Lombardia (Bergamo) local police.

“A bad move, in a tragic moment, an abuse committed against a victim”, said local police head Arcangelo Di Nardo.
