Veliu has said that with the OEK chairman, they have discussed the situation with the COVID-19 pandemic and have considered the possibility of removing some restrictions for businesses, the Signal newspaper writes.
“With the chairman of the Kosovo Economic Ode, Berat Rukiqi, discussed the overall situation about the management of COVID-19 pandemic. We are aware that this sector has been hit mostly by restrictive measures, so we considered the possibility of lifting some business restrictions. We also talked about forms of our joint commitment to the awareness of businesses in implementing defence measures”, Veliu wrote.
While Berat Rukiqi said it has been agreed that Veliu will propose the removal of restrictive measures for businesses.
In the course of meetings with the ministers of various dictatorships of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, in the function of better management of pandemic, today I met the Minister of Internal Affairs and Public Administration, Mr. Agim Veliu. We agreed to propose the removal of restrictive measures for businesses and joint activities aimed at raising awareness of the spread of the virus within the private sector”, Rukiqi wrote.
