Ivan Vejvoda, part of the Vienna Institute for Social Science in an interview for the Voice of America, has talked about the process of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia and Washington and Brussels' engagement.
Vjeloda says the work of Trump's emissary Richard Green, in relation to Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, has caused the European Union to wake up from sleep and activate.
“What Ambassador Richard Green did and what is happening has actually caused Europe to wake up and suddenly become very active, considering that they organised a meeting in Brussels, and now say there will be a meeting in Paris”, Vejvoda has said.
He has yet said that to find a final solution for Kosovo and Serbia, a co-operation is needed between Brussels and Washington.
Vejvoda says Europe has a key role but cannot find a solution without the involvement of America, considering the American role in the region over the past 30 years.
“Of course, America, has its influence with financial institutions like the World Bank and International Monetary Fund”, he has said, adding that with these institutions it could help the two states to development if the agreement is reached
