PDK MP Ariana Musliu Shoshi has proposed that, under the completion of the 2020 Budget Change Law, each woman born in public hospitals will be divided a package of more than 50 euros for newborn babies.
MP Musliu has said that this initiative is due to the difficulties Kosovo families have in spending on babies.
This is my first initiative as deputy to the Parliament through which I have proposed that every woman born in Kosovo's public hospitals be supported by a package in the amount of 50 euros, with products that are essential for newborn babies as amendments to the completion of the 2020 Budget Law. We are witnesses that Kosovo families cannot afford the costs that may come up for products that are necessary in the case of birth. The Pandemia Covid-19” has also weighed this situation heavily.
That proposal, she said, will be discussed in the Commission for Business and Finance.
This amendment proposal will be discussed today in the Commission for Business and Finance, which I expect to receive a positive vote on the part of the deputies of this commission, so that the next session will eventually be approved and entered as the budgetary sub-cateries in the annual budget for this year and will continue and increase the amount in the coming years”, she said.
