Faithful Tahiri, Kosovo deputy prime minister, through a Facebook post, has announced that he has held a meeting today to meet with the Republic of Kosovo's Hotel and Tourism Oda.
He has said that during this meeting this industry is in serious condition, where the largest number of workers is in the private sector.
Tahiri also related the four urgent requests these representatives requested from the government.
This is a full post:
Today I have met the Oda of Hotelery and Tourism of the Republic of Kosovo, comprised of executive director Mr. Vicar Demolli, chairman of the Board, Prof. Dr. Hysen Sogoyev, and the Prof members. Dr. Alberta Tahiri, Mr. Africa Muqiqi, Mr. Flag Bahthir and Mr. Hamdi Bytyqi
At the meeting, I was informed that this industry, which has the most employees in the private sector, is in serious condition. They demanded that the government make a reevaluation of the situation and take into account four urgent demands:
1. Longing for two (2) hours of work hours;
2. Determining an accurate family entertainment manual (that is happening without stopping) so that family events are legal and formal, and not as they are now happening;
3. Return to normality at airport, regular schedule flights;
4. Special programme for this sector in the Government's Economic Recovery Programme.
At the meeting, I stressed that the Government of the Republic of Kosovo will engage in preserving public health and address the demands of this sector of particular importance to the country's economy.
